'tis the season.

The anticipation of something special has always been just as fun as the actual thing to me, and this year, the lead up to the holidays has felt sort of magical. Between traveling home to Chicago and battling a few colds over the past few weeks, things have been busier than usual, but all our free time has been spent celebrating the season. Late-night holiday parties, cozy nights curled up by the fireplace, holiday shopping trips — for some reason, I'm even more smitten with Christmas than usual.

Speaking of holiday shopping, if (like me) you've been diving into all the curated gift guides out there, let me point you toward our POPSUGAR Gift Guides, too! All of us have so much fun putting these together each year, and I'm especially loving the picks in our Gifts Under $200 roundup. Some of my contributions? Catbird's gold alphabet rings, tortoise shell Ray-Bans, and the Bobbi Brown "Katie's Favorites" collection selected by Katie Holmes. I'm curious: What's on your wish list this year?

the under $200 gift guide is amazing! those geode coasters and that copper hammered candle omg. The only problem is that the good price point makes it even more tempting to buy all those things for myself.

I needed a guide to help find some gifts because I've been stuck here lately! It was great! x

Free time is a joke around the holidays, isn't it? Haha! And I'm kind of loving the idea of a bluetooth iPad keyboard. This solves so many problems.... :) Like Ordinary Life

I haven't had time yet to slow down and enjoy the buildup of the season yet... it seems silly to say, but I have every intention of making up for lost time next year.
