today i believe...

... that eating homemade popsicles on a hot, hot summer day can make you feel like a kid again.

... that there's nothing — absolutely nothing — better than a spontaneous, late-night dance party with the people you love most. Especially when bike helmets and '90s music are involved.

... that a sunny pool day can solve just about anything.

... that it's perfectly okay to have a wildly, unrealistically long reading list at all times.

... that there are a lot of Marin County must dos, but one of them is definitely to have a big, feast of picnic at the edge of China Camp Point just before the sun goes down.

... and that, really, the best thing you can do is to challenge yourself.

What a lovely post! Summer is the yummiest and I am SO guilty of the unrealistic, impossibly long reading list. I have been wanting to drop a note, your blog led me to ask Sam Shorey to be my wedding photographer--best decision ever! We adore her and her friend Cara, they captured everything so beautifully. i can't remember the last time i eat homemade popsicle. definitely awoken my childhood memory.
