on character.

It's always interesting to find out how another person sees you, to find out which pieces of you come across, and how. Recently, I was completely taken aback when, after meeting me just a handful of times, Meg managed to make the most spot-on observation about my character.

"You're an old soul," she said, "but you also have this incredible, child-like wonder."

That's it, I thought. That's exactly it. I've been a messy, complicated mix of contradictions for as long as I can remember, and she captured it all in one small, simple sentence. Go figure, right?

Two of my favorite bloggers in one post! I feel like that could pretty much sum me up as well. I've always been called an old soul. :)

You and Meg seem to have such a lovely relationship :) And from reading your posts, I really do think she's got you spot on. I don't think anyone has ever managed to describe me in just a short sentence! x

I love this. That's such a simple definition of character, but it's also so spot-on, I'm sure. It reminds me of me, actually. I can totally relate to it. :)

I am always told I have an old soul. I was not really sure of what it means... It used to upset me when I was in my teen years, but I find it quite a compliment now.
