today i believe...

... that banana-egg pancakes really do deserve all the Pinterest hype — especially if you add protein powder, flaxseed, a dash of cinnamon, and real maple syrup. (Trust me.)

... that Amy and Tina really do have the coolest friendship.

... that every once in a while, it's totally acceptable to plan on making a side of vegetables topped with parmesan only to end up with a side of parmesan topped with vegetables. Balance, right?

... that showing love will always beat saying it.

... that a friend who shares your taste in music and/or bad TV shows is absolutely priceless.

... that you most definitely need to own at least one pair of shoes that makes you feel like the best, most grownup, most fabulously Carrie-Bradshaw-esque version of yourself.

... and that sometimes, the most ordinary moments are the most magically profound.

I agree with all of these, except for the banana egg pancakes. I really really REALLY wanted to like them, but I think they're disgusting and will be sticking with my carb-laden flour pancakes haha :)

I was recently told by my doctor not to eat any flour/pasta/rice, and I was so devastated that I would have to give up pancakes. I don't think the banana ones are as good as normal ones, but they are good.
