New York glimmers with a certain kind of magic in December. Greenery winds through the fences, lights are strung along doorways and balconies and benches. Everything feels buoyant.
I've always dreamed of living in New York City. The energy, the art, the chaos — I love it all. One of the best parts of my recent trip? Wandering along random streets with Sam, not quite sure where we were or where we were headed. Neither of us would say that 'living in the moment' is one of our strong suits, but last week, we basked in each and every one.
We also share a knack for the dramatics, every feeling magnified to the tenth degree — especially when we're caffeinated. White wine? The best we'd ever had. Earmuffs? The best purchase we'd ever made. Morning stroll? Most amazing winter weather we could ever imagine. We basically high-fived our way through every park and restaurant and bar, and it was perfect.
