At the start of 2012, I'd just started working at PopSugar. During a busy month, some of my favorite moments were at the end of the day, when Radley and I would watch sunsets from our rooftop.
In February, we took a few day trips to Napa — the perfect little getaway.
Things calmed down in March, so we were all about the San Francisco adventures.
By April, we were on the move — first with my birthday (and my parents' surprise visit!), plus an incredible trip to Tahoe with Radley's family...
... and then my (too?) fun bachelorette party in Vegas with ten of my closest friends! (So great.)
In May, we soaked up the San Francisco sun and all my Full House dreams came true.
And in June, we tried to lay low, visiting the farmer's market and having weekend picnics and preparing ourselves for the wildest two months we'd ever experienced...
Because in July, we saw my best friend in the world marry her other best friend in Vail...
Then it was time for a Napa trip to prepare for our big day...
(In the meantime, there were also some PopSugar shenanigans back in San Francisco.)
And at the start of August, our friends and family came to Napa to kick off our wedding weekend! First, there was the incredible rehearsal dinner surprise inspired by My Best Friend's Wedding.
And the lovely Sam — my best friend and bridesmaid — managed to snap some of the most wonderful, in-between moments on film. Forever grateful for our wedding through her eyes.
Just after our wedding week, we went to the Mumford & Sons concert (best show ever) before heading to Kauai for our two-week Hawaiian honeymoon. We hiked, we pool-ed, we snorkeled, and we drank enough Mai Tais to last us a lifetime... or, you know, until our next Hawaii trip, anyway.
In September, I started the novel that I've been brainstorming for years — still in progress — and we settled into a quieter post-wedding life. (Bliss.)
And in October, we took advantage of extra-hot days with plenty of trips to the beach, Sunday picnics with our friends at Fort Mason, plus too many "city hikes" to count.
November was all about spontaneity: day trips and city adventures and pretty hikes along the coast.
And in December, I closed out the year with one seriously incredible trip to New York City.
I feel really, really blessed after such an amazing year. In 2012, I fell in love with my job at PopSugar, settled into San Francisco, celebrated my best friend's wedding, married the love of my life, and spent time with the people I care about most in this world.
Here's to feeling grateful, and a happy, healthy 2013!
