mornings on the bay.

Truth is, I think I like mornings on the water even more than sunsets on the roof. The boats, the breeze, all the different blues—so different from the greens of the Midwest. And still, even after four years living on the beach in San Diego, something about saying "Let's head down to the water" just makes me giddy... I seriously don't think I'll ever get used to that.

Oh, Marina. How I love you so.

i think i would be giddy too. there is nothing like the beach/ocean but then again, there are nothing like the mountains in utah.

I'm not a huge ocean person. I much prefer the mountains or forests (really, I just harbor a hatred for sand). But I can't deny that this bay is absolutely stunning.

Oh I'm so jealous. I wish I lived near a marina! Your pictures are so beautiful. I don't know if I would ever get used to being able to walk down to the water, it's just so calming!
