little miss chatterbox and mr. happy.

When I was younger, I absolutely loved the Little Miss and Mr. Men characters—I had just about every book in the collection and I'd regularly line them all up along the floor to re-choose my favorite. Sometimes it was Little Miss Giggles, sometimes it was Little Miss Trouble, and other times I picked Mr. Messy, mostly because he was the easiest to draw.

For Christmas, my mom bought Radley and I these mugs, Little Miss Chatterbox and Mr. Happy, and I had to laugh because she summed up our relationship pretty perfectly. I talk too much, always have—my parents used to say that their "ears needed to rest" so that I'd be quiet every once in a while. And Radley, well, he's the first person I've ever met who wakes up every day with a smile on his face. Happy is his default mode, and he manages to make it contagious.

Later my mom handed me the Little Miss Sunshine mug, too, which made me feel a bit better. Yes, I may talk too much, but at least I tend to keep things light and sunshine-y, right?

well I bet MR. Happy and Miss Chatter Box get along really well? I mean he's probably more than "happy" to be a good listener right? ; )

This is so cute! And thoughtful. And I like it when mothers sum up things, from the outside, so perfectly. Like only mothers can.
