life's simplest pleasures.

Thanks to a weekend full of celebrations--a birthday dinner, a Christmas party, and a date night to celebrate some really exciting news that I'll be sharing soon (!!)--this is quickly becoming one of the best Decembers I can remember. An incredible end to a seriously incredible year.

And during these fun but hectic holiday weeks, there's something to be said for the little things. For a vase of liles (Thank you, Radley) and a breeze drifting through the open windows. For finding that perfect gift, for beautiful stationery, for cozy Sunday dinners with friends. There's something to be said for flannel sheets and homemade pie, for peacoats and pine cones. For an apartment filled with the mingling scents of apple cinnamon candles and freshly baked bread.

And did I mention the vase of lilies?

After all, now is the time to bask in life's simplest pleasures, don't you think?
