the power to heal.

The sound of seagulls, of waves crashing, of boats and foghorns and creaky docks.

The taste of fresh, salty air wafting along the bayfront.

The feel of a crisp breeze and warm sun on your face--a sensation of being lifted.

The scent of recently cut grass and coffee and flowers.

The view of water, so much water, extending as far as you can see--all the way to the horizon.

... When they say that salt water has the power to heal, I doubt they mean just the sight of it.
But sometimes, I think that's all it takes. Sometimes, that's enough.

The last picture! What a plump, happy star fish.

Looks like there is beauty from every angle -- lucky you. Glad the move went smoothly!

Isn't that the truth?!? Your pictures are lovely. I hope that you & Radley are settling in nicely and finding adventure in the nooks & crannies of your new neighborhood.
