holidays for every day.

Knowing that I'm always looking for a reason to celebrate, a friend recently directed me to the website "Holidays For Everyday"--and, well, I'm officially obsessed. It lists all the weird and wonderful national days for each month of the year, everything from Encourage A Young Writer Day (April 10th) to Kite Day (May 3rd) to National Flip Flop Day (June 17th.) It's definitely going to be my new go-to resource for whenever I need a good--and hilariously random--excuse for a party!

Oh, and if you're interested, today is National Forgiveness Day, tomorrow is Great American Picnic Day, and Sunday will be National Chocolate Pudding Day... Personally, I'm planning to celebrate all three :)

Happy Friday!... And, you know, National Pralines Day.

I totally had a list of these random holidays in high school and everyday someone would ask me what we were celebrating. I think my favorite is national ice cream day.
