besotted.

Yes, I'm still in New York, still under its spell--besotted with the city despite the freezing temperatures, the rain, the snow, and the hail that so kindly decided to join us yesterday.

I feel pret-ty lucky to be taking such a long trip--and there's still a few days left!--so I'm working on a sort of "Must Do/See/Eat" cheat sheet listing all the spots I've loved. For those of you who might be visiting soon yourselves, is that something you might like to have? Let me know, and when I'm finished, I'll either post it for everyone to see or email it to whoever's interested!

On that note, I'd also like to give big thanks to all the readers who have given me such great insider tips... It's been such a treat to explore all the restaurants and shops and neighborhoods you've suggested, places I might have otherwise missed--so thank you. Lots. It's very appreciated!

We have some really great plans over the next few days, so stay tuned--there will be plenty more stories and pictures to come later this week... Oh, and we'll be adding a third party to our group :)

I would personally love to have one of your cheat sheets! My friend Brooke has always wanted to go to New York and this year might actually be the year we go! :)

I thought that was hail! I experienced some of that yesterday. AND the snow! Being up North is not so fun, weather-wise.
I was thinking the other day though, I know you love to write, why don't you post some of your writing on your blog?! I, for one, would love to read something you wrote.
Just an idea...

Hi Laura! Thanks so much for your Chicago recommendations; we went to the Bourgeois Pig Cafe - their mochas are SO good! - and before leaving Chicago we grabbed a bag of Garrett Popcorn. Perfect suggestions.

Looks like you're having so much fun in NYC! How cute is that food cart?!

Due to your awesome pictures the mister and I are seriously considering a couple night's stay in NYC for our anniversary in the fall so I would LOVE a cheat sheet!

And seriously - your pictures? I'm becoming obsessed!

Definitely post a cheat sheet :)
I'll be spending a month in New York this summer so that would be fun to see what places you recommend.

Also, last time I was in New York, I went to a restaurant called five point (I think that's what it was called). Anyways... REALLY good... for, you know... if you need good places to eat! Have a great rest of your trip!
