February 14, 2011

wherever i'm with you.

Sometimes I tend to be a bit, well... impatient.
And yesterday? Yesterday was definitely one of those times.

With good reason, though, I think. Because I've just been itching for Radley to open his Valentine's Day gift and I just had to give it to him a day early...

The present I picked out?
This lovely little print by Melanie Linder:
Simple and perfect, isn't?! (He loves it.)

And I just have to say that I absolutely adore every item in Melanie's shop, which is so appropriately named for today--spreadthelove. Her work has such a lovely aesthetic, and there's something to be said for the sort of artist whose work is truly recognizable.

Are you celebrating Valentine's Day?
What are your plans?

Perfection!! Perfect quote & great art... ahhh!

I was also impatient. I made L open his Valentine a few days ago because it was relevant at the time... I am the worst gift giver!

Aww, love that this print is an homage to the Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes song.

Ever since we saw them play at Bonnaroo last summer, that's been our go-to favorite song :)
