Exciting (and really nerve-wracking) news...
I was asked to read one of my pieces live on the radio tomorrow!
I'll be reading one of my satirical stories--a short series of monologues titled "The Price of Love"--during a 30-minute segment starting at 11:30 Central Standard Time. For the first ten minutes, the host will be interviewing another girl and myself about our stories--and the last twenty minutes will be dedicated to our readings.
I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of the show--although, to be honest, I'd originally agreed to read because I thought there wouldn't be too many listeners. And then, of course, I found out that Radio DePaul was named the #1 college station in the nation... (Yikes.)
You can listen live online by visiting the Radio DePaul website tomorrow morning--I'd love for you to tune in and would really appreciate your support!
Wish me luck :)
