because who doesn't love roses on the windowsill?

I understand that some people don't like the Hallmark-y side of Valentine's Day--that whole "commercial" thing--but I for one will forever appreciate the sort of holiday that celebrates love. A sap, a romantic, a sentimentalist--I'm all three. Shamelessly so. And I'm not above saying that I love a good, cheesy greeting card. And flowers. And champagne. And twenty-five little notes about all the reasons he loves me.

Yes. Yes, Valentine's Day is definitely a holiday I can hang with.

I have roses sitting on my windowsill too. I can't see anything wrong with a day to celebrate love.

You're right. When I think of Valentine's Day, and granted it's always been a 'Oh Cares' attitude (because I'm single! I'll admit it!), but it's good to celebrate love. It's special finding someone that you love, and celebrating it. Or just celebrating love, for love's sake.
And I do like the movies on tv they always show! Yes, they're predictable, and yes, they're corny, but it's good to good to get lost in them once in awhile!

You've got quite the man! Diet Coke and flowers last week, champagne and roses this week. Very nice :) My boyfriend surpised me with roses last week, too!

I love a good surprise, and flowers are even better!
