oh, just a snowy day at the park... ( part 1 )

A few things I learned this weekend:
1. Twenty degree weather is (semi) bearable if the sun is out.
2. Compassion really is one of the best qualities a person can have.
3. Starbucks peppermint white hot chocolate is heaven.
4. There are few things as fantastic as a super witty best friend.
5. Fingerless gloves--although cute--are not so functional.
6. I'm obsessed with cable knit everything... (no, but seriously.)
7. Francesca's Pizzeria on Clark is, well, awesome.
8. Hunter boots are everything they're cracked up to be.
9. Things won't always go as expected... but, yes, you'll survive.

I agree with you on number 2 and number 9(especially lately).
I love that you share with people things you learned, and thoughts you have in general. I really identity with a lot of what you're saying, and it's great to see similar viewpoints out there.
Cute white winter hat by the way! Love it.

love the photos! makes me want to go outside and play in the snow.

I agree with 1, 2, 4, 6, and 9! I need to try that Starbucks drink ASAP...I usually get a typical peppermint mocha, but it's time to expand my horizons : )

I love the sun flare in that second picture and those are super cute boots! I really want a pair of Hunter boots (now that I finally purchased a pair of Frye boots a few months ago. :))

BTW, where did you get your boots? I don't see them on the Hunter website. Are they older?

@Briel79--Those boots are actually Uggs! I bought them last year but I'm sure they have a similar style this year :) I only mentioned Hunter boots because I got a pair this week!

Laura, have you seen the Hunter Wellie cream cable knit liners? Someone came into my coffeeshop wearing them last week and I (literally) squealed over them. I think they sell them at saks!

:/ aw, i bought fingerless gloves and find it very functional! i can move me dear fingers!
i don't know if it's cause my hands are small and my fingers too, ordinary gloves are always too big!

have a wonderful day :)
