red rooster.

Lately I've been taking lots of walks around the neighborhood, soaking up these final days of warm-ish fall weather before winter sneaks up on us. One of my favorite places to pass each morning is the Red Rooster, a French restaurant on Halstead & Dickens:
It's gorgeous and colorful and it lets me pretend, if only for a moment, that France is just around the corner--even if it is just painted on the wall.
