a list of little things | things that make me feel light

things that make me feel light:
when sunlight flickers in the air, fairy-like.
any song by mumford & sons
the smell of maple syrup early in the morning.
reading the first line of a story.
british accents.
morning runs through the park.
glowing ocean sunsets.
postcards.
my hilarious niece and nephews.
sitting by the fireplace.
random gifts from friends. (aka sam.)
early breakfast dates.
and, of course, words that resonate.

Tell me: what little things make you feel light?

just my little way of saying I'm thinking about you, since I can't show up at your door anymore. Love

This is lovely. It is so important to feel light in a heavy hearted world. The things that make me feel light are looking at my veiw of the mountains. Playing with my puppy. Reading. Drinking pumpkin chias. The scent of my jasmine perfume in the cold winter and the sound of my 4 year old nephews voice when he tells me he loves me:)

Yay Mumford & Sons!

I'm obsessed with Loretta Lynn today. She was amazing at the CMA's last night, so I've been listening to her album she made with Jack White all day today.

A brand new pair of boots!

sitting by the fireplace has to be a close second, though. i love snuggling up with a cozy blanket, book in hand, listening to the crackle of the burning wood.

Tea, Thursday afternoons, John Butler Trio's "Ocean", and a good book. If I had all three of those simultaneously, I might float away and never come back.
