my weekend, in pictures:

I woke up on Friday morning to find that autumn had suddenly arrived in full force: crisp air, cool breezes, boots-and-scarves, back-to-school, football season sort of weather was waiting just outside my door.

And what better way to celebrate fall's arrival than by lunching at an outdoor cafe--with flower boxes, of course--and by visiting the farmers market for fresh flowers and maple syrup?
(Note: I love maple syrup.)

Yes. A lovely little weekend of fall festivities, indeed.

Have the seasons started to shift near you?
How did you spend your weekend?

September is my favorite month in California ... it has been quite warm but I can feel fall lurking behind the warmth of the sun. The smell is in the air and I can't wait to take crisp evening jogs. Love the photos friend!!! XO
