why i love summer (and sun):

Yesterday was one of those postcard sort of days... know what I mean? Bright blue sky, little kids on bicycles, old men playing chess in the park--like you're living a movie scene.

So it was the perfect day for a picnic in Oz Park--the park in our backyard named after, yes, The Wizard of Oz. We set up our blanket in the garden called Emerald City:

And, inspired, we decided to create our own little garden in the city:
(Okay... mostly Radley did.)
It's my first garden and I'm really awkwardly excited about it.
To all you green thumbs out there, any and all advice is welcome!
