peace and posies

I just got an award from the lovely, inspirational Cassy at peace and posies that comes with a survey and I absolutely love her idea to have readers answer the questions - so I'm going to do the same!

Please comment to answer these questions so that I can learn more about all of you!

1. Where are you from?
2. What inspires you about life?
3. In your own words how would you describe love?
4. What is your favorite book and movie right now?
5. Why do you write?
6. If you have a blog, please tell me more about it so I can visit you!

*P.S. How beautiful is this photo? Taken by none other than Cassy herself... lovely!

1. a little, tiny town in Ohio called St. Marys.
2. my inspirations include running, nature, indie music, and color psychology.
3. love is being able to tell someone anything with no fear of being reprimanded. it is a satisfiable longing for someone with whom you share the same spirit.
4.my favorite book would have to be the memory keeper's daughter. as for movie, it changes, but right now would have to be pan's labyrinth.
5. i write to rid my body of excess emotions, and express those that need to be addressed.
thanks :)

This is a fun idea.

1. I am from New Zealand, currently living in Auckland but missing my hometown Wellington a fair bit.
2. The little things that are so easy to take for granted inspire me especially whenever I take the time to write in my blog. I also see inspiration in the outdoors, the beach, western springs park and the view from my living room window.
3. Love is in the pit of your stomach where it feels light, heavy, delightful, aching all at the same time. Its pretty good really until you get hurt and then it feels like you have been punched in the guts.
4. My favourite book is one I have just read called "Who Sings for Lu" but that status seems to change everytime I read a new one. Favourite movie would have to be Pan's Labryrinth.
5. I write to empty out my head. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded up there.
7. I have a blog but I am on a bit of a hiatus at the moment while I study for exams...not that it stops me from reading everyone elses. I think you can get to it just by clicking on my picture, its called the beat my heart skips

Jess :)

1. Riidgecrest, CA (which is neither a ridge nor a crest, but in the middle of a valley)
2. right now, mostly my family
3. Love is sharing. Love is caring more about YOU and US than about me.
4. All time favorite book: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. Right now I've been hooked on Agatha Christy murder mysteries. And I don't have a favorite movie.
5. I write to keep my head from exploding. Most of it doesn't make it onto my blog, but if I don't write, I quite literally go crazy.
6. talkingbacktoall.blogspot.com
Mostly, I just ramble about what's going on in my life. Some friends from high school and I started blogs to keep in touch when we all went off to college. Five years and one site change later, I'm the only one who still posts semi-regularly.
